Boss Combat Strategies
Styracosaurus
The first Alpha predator encountered. Built around parry-based pressure mechanics — master timing to break its posture and land devastating counters.
Weakness
Parry Pressure
Attack Pattern
Charge attacks, headbutt combos, and ground slams. Telegraphs its attacks with body shifts — learn the wind-up animations for consistent parries.
Strategy
Stay aggressive and maintain posture pressure. Parry its charge attacks to fill the posture meter quickly. When it pauses, attack immediately — it will restore posture if you disengage.
Carnotaurus
An aggressive charger with new finisher animations. Dodge its rushing attacks and counter-attack during recovery windows.
Weakness
Dodge & Counter
Attack Pattern
High-speed charge attacks with new finisher combos. Will combo multiple charges in succession — dodge the first, watch for follow-ups.
Strategy
Dodge its charge attacks and counter during the recovery animation. Do not try to parry the charge — the timing window is extremely tight. Focus on dodge-rolling and punishing openings.
Kira
A complex multi-phase boss fight with nearby agro enemies. Careful positioning is required to avoid being overwhelmed by additional threats.
Weakness
Positioning
Attack Pattern
Multi-phase fight with changing attack patterns. Calls nearby enemies to assist — the agro range increases in later phases. Position carefully to avoid adds.
Strategy
Clear nearby enemies first before engaging Kira directly. The multi-phase nature means you need sustained focus — conserve resources for later phases when the fight intensifies.
T-Rex
Uses a smaller dinosaur as an improvised club before drawing a massive blade — the ultimate test of your mastery.
Weakness
Posture Break
Attack Pattern
Begins using a smaller dinosaur as a weapon, then transitions to drawing a massive blade. Two distinct combat phases with completely different attack patterns.
Strategy
The ultimate test. Phase 1 requires dodging the club sweeps, Phase 2 demands precise parry timing against the blade. Use your best build and maintain full focus throughout.
